Our original Dutch Colonial front door was a true relic of the 1980s … it had to go.

In choosing paint colors for the new door, shutters and siding, the pesky orangish roof didn’t allow for much French Country or Coastal to emerge. Boo hiss. That said, the color scheme we settled on looks inviting and appropriate to the surroundings, even if it wasn’t fully what we had envisioned.
