We lost our way toward a Coastal French Country dining room with black window paint (left), but righted the ship with a coat of white. Pop up some linen curtains, and BAM, French Country for days. Linen reminds me of sailcloth, so it’s a natural fit for Coastal style, too (more on Coastal French textiles). This particular set has been discontinued, but there’s a similar one here.
